I am not good enough.

I can’t seem to get things right.

Good things don’t last/happen for me.

I knew things are not as good as it seems.

I am not that lucky.

These beliefs flow through our brain more often than we realized. If we aren’t aware, these thoughts will overtime become unconscious beliefs that stop us from moving a step further. However, it is not easy to catch these long-standing thoughts. Many of our beliefs stemmed from our childhood and from deep conditioning that was repeated as vicious cycles. My beliefs of inadequacy were strong as that was the environment I am brought up in.

While I still have my limiting beliefs, I am now more aware and able to catch myself when these thoughts come over me. I am able to question and challenge their truth. Not only has it helped me to become more aware of my self-deprecating habits, but it has also allowed me to be empathetic towards others who are in the same boat. At the start, it wasn’t easy to notice my negative patterns. What helped me was having a life coach mirroring back to me on my unconscious beliefs. Unconscious beliefs are like blind…
