Especially if you’re an empath
Some days we just have to plant our feet firmly to the ground and talk right back to those shitty thoughts in our head. That was me today because I woke up feeling like shit, PMS, moody and grumpy. Sometimes having tensions in our relationships can also add to the feeling of inadequacy. I have been feeling emotionally burdened and responsible for the people I love. So I snapped myself out of those thoughts and told myself:
🌱 I’m not responsible for how others are choosing to feel.
🌱I’ve given my best to the best of my abilities.
🌱I’m not responsible for the consequences as a result of the choices of others.
🌱I cannot change how others perceive me but I can change how I respond to their perceptions even if it’s different from my perceived reality.
🌱It is not my responsibility to change other’s perception if they choose to hold onto a negative perception of me instead of noticing my light.
🌱I don’t have to convince anyone what I think I am.
🌱 If I have to, you’re wasting my time.
