Day 1: 28th Jan
Some days, I am not sure what to write.
Still, I get to writing because it is a habit I wish to cultivate.
The writing is for me and no one else.
To break away the author’s ego, with no one to show.
No work to produce or to edit incessantly to perfection.
To be honest, even though I don’t quite know what to write yet, it is a relief to have nothing of such pressure.
I can feel in me that I can’t wait to show the finish work, again, I caught my ego.
Perhaps I can end off with Mary Oliver’s from Dream Work :
“Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.”
